Fabulous Firsties Need Technology!

My students need new three sets of headphones and a Kindle with case to use in learning centers daily. We are short one tablet and have had to replace several sets of headphones this year.

My Students

My fabulous firsties are a diverse group of learners. They are happy, energetic, caring, and hungry for knowledge. The majority of the class would tell you that center times and Core Knowledge are their favorite part of the day. Our classroom is a tight knit family. Scholars enjoy working together in flexible groups, in each subject.

Scholars of all academic and social/emotional levels are engaged in learning and fun.

Hands on projects and technology are a large part of center times. Scholars look forward to accessing knowledge through different venues.

My Project

Our first grade classroom is in need of one Kindle tablet with case and three additional headphones for our learning centers. This technology is used daily in a variety of ways. They will be used in reading, for Raz-Kids reading content at the scholar's level, in math for Happy Numbers at their ability level, and in Core Knowledge centers throughout the year. At this time, we are short one tablet and two pairs of headphones.

My scholars use technology on a daily basis as a part of differentiated instruction.

We would be very grateful for any help and support that we would be given.
