I teach kindergarten in a large, multicultural PreK-6 school, in Texas. Students in our school speak 13 different languages at home. The loving families of my students are struggling in these hard economic times. Many of my students receive free lunch, and all students in the school can receive free breakfast in the cafeteria in the morning.
This year is going great, but some new items can make it even better!

My Project
My students need Porta-screen privacy dividers so that they can produce individual, quality work. Right now they are using writing folders, which are not in good shape. Students have cut them and drawn on them.
We need these quality, plastic screens to use at our tables.
They will be used during writing, math, testing, and center work. Students will be able to grab one whenever they want some privacy while working. As we complete this school year and students get ready for first grade, these screens will get a lot of use. They will make an impact on our classroom this year and for many years to come. We also need pens and pencils to use for writing and drawing.
