Eye Popping Music
My students need a Microsoft Surface Pro tablet to project music programs.
Many students have music inside them waiting to burst out. These students have not yet been introduced to the world of music where they are actually making the music. With improved technology, this world will make such an impression that it would stay with them all of their lives.
My students are third graders just being introduced to music in the classroom setting for the first time.
The school they attend services students from Kindergarten to fifth grade. The makeup of the class is approximately half and half of boys and girls with several students who are special visual learners. With the school being situated in south Louisiana they are exposed to different types of music daily.
With a tablet my students will be able to see better and participate in the class because of the projected picture. By seeing what they are singing and listening to they can then take their first step in reading music. This experience, hopefully, will carry over into their lives away from school as they listen to music on the radio, television or other electronic devices.
Many students have music inside them.
They are born with it. But they don't know how to let this music out or give expression to it. This device will make learning music so much more exciting and foster a great excitement inside them.
