My Students

My classroom is filled with students who are looking for a safe and calm place to learn. Many of my students come from traditional homes but the demographics in our area is changing. More and more of my students are coming to class with a higher level of stress than in previous years.

My students love trying new things, having fun with their classmates, and having a classroom that fits their unique needs.

It is my goal to incorporate activities to encourage these experiences.

My Project

Students need a variety of assignments to keep them engaged.

Materials from Teachers Pay Teachers are standards based, creative, and eye catching.

The assignments purchased can be used year after year. They're also available in different formats to be used for distance learning and in person students. Math, language arts, science, and social studies work can all be found on Teachers Pay Teachers which helps add diversity to our learning.

Imagine a unit about animals. We complete our lessons, read our books, discuss, and respond. The creative teachers on TPT have activities that will extend the student's learning. There are directions for building a habitat or trifold brochures for creating their own hybrid animal!
