My Project
We have started a High Altitude Balloon Launch Program and it has really taken off. Students keep coming up with exciting and cutting edge science experiments to send up into near space as part of our payload.
Sending Tardigrades to the Stratosphere will be tied into our life science and genetics studies and will help students to think about the harshness of space and what might be capable of surviving in these environments.
We will be attempting to keep our culture active and alive in the classroom to be able to study these interesting species and have Tardigrade astronauts for two stratospheric missions. We hope to host one of our launches as a family event on a weekend to involve our local community.
