This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Students

My students are very special first graders in a high-needs area of a borough in New York City. Most of my students are English Language Learners or children with special needs eager to learn and discover. Each student is unique in his or her own way and deserves to have the best educational experience possible. All of my students receive free or reduced-price lunch.

Unfortunately, my classroom does not always have the supplies we need.

Every donation makes a difference in my students' lives. I look forward to creating projects that will make our physical and virtual classroom a joyful learning environment. Thank you!

My Project

After a year where many kids were taking classes from home, we would like to give students an amazing welcome back to school. We would use the materials in this project to decorate the hallway, classroom and provide some nice backdrops for the parents to take pictures of their children. We also want to make the first day back to school exciting and meaningful for our school students and family.

The decorations and photo backdrops will make an amazing welcome back environment that all students need after an unprecedented school year.
