Extracurricular & Student Engagement for ENL Students with Autism

My Project
I am the teacher in charge of events for a high school with students with severe disabilities. Some of my students are immigrants, and the majority of my school are ENL students. My students come from diverse backgrounds. My students work tirelessly on academics, vocational and independent living skills. My aim is to provide my student body with amazing holiday celebrations to give their brains a break from the daily stressors of life and promote socialization and inclusivity within our diverse student body. We are requesting snacks. Many of my students do not get the opportunity to hang out with their friends outside of school in a relaxed, fun setting so we would like to create these chances during the school day.
Help me provide my students with balloons, decorations, snacks, and candy to make our celebrations memorable!
We will be utilizing these supplies at three different events: 1. our kickoff the school year party (football/homecoming themed) 2. our Walk for Hope (October) and 3. our Halloween celebration.
These supplies will allow my students to practice mental health skills such as collaboration, socialization, and promote emotional and mental wellness.
