My Students

I am a third-grade teacher who teaches in New York and my students are genuinely unique and resilient. I believe I am blessed to have students who can come to school and learn, thrive, and share their thinking all through a pandemic. I have a group of students who are eager learners, anxious to get upstairs and get started. They show each other care and kindness as they have learned to stay socially distant, work together in groups, and help each other as they work collaboratively.

As a result, I try to obtain materials for my students to enhance their learning, build their self-confidence, and improve all areas of their academic knowledge.

I am fortunate to have a group of students who show such exceptional character traits, which makes me work even harder to provide them with engaging, creative, and interactive lessons to develop their skills fully.

My Project

Students are attending school more regularly through this pandemic. Therefore having the critical supplies is essential. In addition, as students have become more accustomed to wearing face masks throughout the school day, they must have access to a clean mask when needed.

These disposable masks will allow students to use at school and have extra masks to take home and use in the community and their extracurricular activities.

In addition, masks allow other routines stated by the CDC will enable schools to remain open and students to thrive in school.
