My Students

My math students love a challenge. Watching my 6th graders work together through a challenge is a wonderful sight to behold. In a small suburban town in New Jersey, my students enjoy math. My students look forward to learning new math concepts. They know that math is a tool they will use in the real world.

Students enjoy practicing their new math skills on the white board where they can quickly erase and adjust to the problem at hand.

Student also enjoy the ability to use a calculator to help speed up the math solving process & allows them to focus on the new mathematical concepts.

My Project

Expos allow students to practice new mathematical concepts on the white board. When problem solving using a calculator helps to speed up the process allowing them to focus on the new concepts and not worry with the routine math facts.

Calculators and Expos allow students to practice and demonstrate solutions to new mathematical concepts.

Having a few extra calculators in the classroom will be useful for the occasional forgotten calculator at home. Having a pocket chart will help me to keep track of the borrowed calculators.

Students love using the white board daily in math class. AS the school year progresses my class is in need of some extra expo markers.
