Celebrate Black Teachers and Students

This project is part of the Black History Month celebration because it supports a Black teacher or a school where the majority of the students are Black.

My Students

My school is a Title I school with 98% of our students receiving Free or Reduced Lunch. Some of my students are ADHD and I would like to provide them with the necessary tools to support them in their learning.

My students love to read and are excited about becoming lifelong readers which is my goal as their Reading Specialist.

We read daily in my classroom and aim to increase our reading level by reading a variety of text. We thank you for helping to fund our Donors Choose project!

My Project

My students will benefit from these resources because we do not receive enough funding from our state for needed supplies. In addition, my students often do not have the needed supplies for various projects. Receiving these resources would allow my students to have the supplies they need to create wonderful writing projects. My students love to write and illustrate their writing, while keeping their work organized. I am teaching my students to be creative writers and these materials will help them create their best work! Their lives will be enriched through their creative writing pieces! Thank you for your donation!
