Celebrate Black Teachers and Students

This project is part of the Black History Month celebration because it supports a Black teacher or a school where the majority of the students are Black.

Reading is believing! Third grade is an important grade for students. Especially the third grade students in my class because they come from a less literature-rich environment.

These third grade students enjoy reading but can become easily frustrated and shut down. Modeling fluent reading, while students read along, is a great strategy to improve student reading fluency.

For the classroom, we require the help of read-along CDs so that my students can hear fluent reading and follow along and become more familiar with words.

These students come from very literature backgrounds and need as much support as they can get. With the help of your donation we can work together to brighten their future!
