My Project

As I prep for a new school year at our school, I think about all of the new band students who will be trying out instruments for the very first time. Lots of excitement and wonder in the room; plenty of silliness included as well! Once all of that is settled, and they know what instrument they will be playing this school year, the questions circle around the room.

"I don't have the money to buy all that stuff!" You can feel the nerves in the room as students grapple with this, and their parents too.

Wouldn't it be wonderful for our families to hear me say, "I've got this one covered"? That's what you're helping me to do.

When you support this project, you are helping our students have the necessary tools to succeed on their clarinets and saxophones. That's one less item for our struggling families to buy. Every clarinet and saxophone needs a reed to operate, and reeds being wood, break and wear out over time. This is an immense ongoing need.
