My Project

Our third-grade students come from diverse socioeconomic backgrounds. This means the classroom may be the only place students are exposed to current events and science news. Scholastic News, Science Spin and Super STEM are magazines appropriate and engaging for their grade level. It is amazing to hear 8 & 9 year-olds talk about the world around them. Moreover, they use that information to make connections and learn how they can be positive members to their school and local community and beyond.

Our students are like sponges and absorb everything they can!

We want to ensure they are reading appropriate, interesting, and pertinent material about the world around them. As you know, the better informed and educated our children are, the better equipped they will be as they grow into adults.

This will be an amazing way to learn about the world around them!
