My Project

I am asking for help in purchasing a subscription to Scholastic News for my 27 students. Previously, our school was able to purchase this, but due to cuts in funding, we are unable to keep up with our subscription. Students are always engaged and excited to participate whenever we receive a new issue. Scholastic News is high interest, so the kids love reading the articles and doing any quizzes or puzzles that are included. My students are considered rural and low socioeconomic, which means receiving the issues is especially exciting for them because it gives them a view outside of our small community. I enjoy how much Scholastic News expands their horizons by bringing up topics they don't always have personal experience with.
