Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
Scholastic News is jam-packed with resources to make literacy, science, social studies, and STEM more engaging for my students.
My students need a child-friendly magazine filled with current events that are relevant to their lives and experiences.
To be active participants in society, they need to learn about the world and understand the current events that affect our everyday lives. Scholastic News not only does this, but it presents this information in ways that pique their interest. The graphics are colorful, the articles are written at their reading level, and the magazines provide activities to make their learning more meaningful. Would you please donate to my project to help me mold my students to be global learners and change the world!
