My Project
My students are a very creative, innovative, and collaborative group. The majority of my students have daily struggles that a seven-year-old child should not have to face. Worrying about food and shelter are some of their challenges. I want to create a safe and caring environment where they can escape those worries and learn.
Providing my students with these nonfiction magazines will allow them the opportunity to experience the world around them in a fun, engaging way.
Students will be challenged to learn about the world while learning and using nonfiction text features to help them become a better reader.
