My Students

My students love coming to school everyday because learning is active, fun, creative, and hands-on! They love creating works of art, technology, and engineering. Their curiosity is in everything they do.

My students are multi-cultural, multi-lingual, multi-racial, and MULTI-FACETED!

They are a true representation of our global lives!

We are an innovative STEM integrated curriculum school located in a small neighborhood with high parent and community involvement. My students get to help design project-based units of discovery and inquiry throughout the year.

My Project

These printed and digital magazines will allow my students the opportunity to read about our world. The colorful, high-interest news magazines are written specifically for first graders. My students will use these online issues for distance learning while under at-home restrictions. The printed magazines will be sent home in learning packets that will allow them to learn about science and current events. These magazines are a window to the world that is currently closed off to my first grade students. Help me give my students great reading materials all year long!
