This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Students

My students attend a low income/high poverty title one school in east Charlotte. They come in with a variety of pasts and different home lives, but they do their very best to meet their potential each and every day. My students are intelligent and determined! They tend to look at life with a different perspective - an inspiring one. We want to make sure that all needs are met so that when at school, their main focus is growing in academics and character, as well as meeting their goals!

My Project

All of these supplies will benefit my students greatly! The ink is a necessity in order to print differentiated work for students in the classroom at any point throughout the day.

We have a variety of readers in the classroom, including students who are still learning English as a second language.

Reading kits and engaging activities are vital parts of meeting each student's individual goal! Many students prefer hands on tasks when reading and writing, which can become difficult to provide at times. These new activity cards will excite my students and will have readers growing many levels in no time!
