Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

The Scholastic Magazine Subscription will put in to students' hands physical copies of interesting, educational and informative current events. In my 14 years teaching, this has been one of the BEST classroom resources created. The Scholastic Newspapers are colorful, interesting and a great all-in-one way for students to answer the daily question: "What did you learn in school today?" Additionally, students will use the bags and fabric markers to decorate their "Information Portfolios" - made up of Laminated, Completed Scholastic Articles. The students at our school thrive to learn and I feel confident, will use these materials to increase their interest and learning.
