Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My school is composed of 400 students in general education classes, with students with IEPs and ELL learners.

My class is in need of some important materials that will assist students with disabilities to become enticed by learning the general education curriculum.
Our school does not have the funds available to provide our students with incentives they need to demonstrate their hard work. Our school has a diverse population of students from various countries who speak a variety of different languages.
Many students will come to our school for the first time and never have learned to speak English.
It is essential that our students have their learning time maximized so they can focus on growing their brains and reaching their personal goals. Our world needs our students to grow up and be able to change it for the better, and providing them with a quality education will make this possible.
My Project
Because of the amazing women that have support my students through the years our focus this month will be empowering my girls who code club to write reports about magnetic, empowered women so they can be empowered to do be successful.

Some of those women will be Pam Wickham, Melinda Gates, Tiera Guinn, Marie Curie, Elizabeth Blackwell, Jane Goodall, Reshma Saujani, and many more women that have changed women history.
I want my students to become empowered and motivated to have a career. I want them to learn that it is okay to make mistakes, it won't be easy, but with hard work and dedication they can do anything they want.
This is why I am requesting a MacBook, circuits, and hydrogen peroxide so they can also create experiment that will take hard work and dedication to complete. I want them to also create the presentation with the use of the MacBook. They will need to use power point, and Microsoft work, and keynote to create their presentations.

I want my girls to become empowered and believe that they can also make changes happen in their community having a growth mindset to want to improve their community. Since our focus this year is problem solving through cultural relevancy.
