Help me give my students the opportunity to be creative and expand their critical thinking skills through fun interactive game activities using these iPads.
I would like to acquire twelve new iPads for my extracurricular game and technology club. The goal is to create and implement a fun enrichment activity where my students can be creative and expand their way of thinking and imagination. In today’s world, children need multiple avenues to explore and enjoy themselves. Technology has become an essential part of the world.
I work in a Special Education setting where my students face many challenges.
My students range from 5th grade to 8th grade. They are all on the Autism Spectrum. This means there are multiple learning styles among my students. Most of my students learn best through visual mediums. Everything that they are being taught needs visual modeling and demonstration. After a hard day of learning, students’ need the time for themselves to play fun educational video games and learn how to navigate the internet and more. Students will be strongly encouraged to interact with their peers by playing together and sharing the same interest. This is a great opportunity to promote students’ engagement, enhance prosocial behaviors, build teamwork skills, strengthen fine motor skills, and improve critical thinking skills. Students will feel that they belong and come out of their shell. Please allow me to help my students flourish to the best of their abilities.
