Extending Our STEM Learning

My Project

In our 4th grade science class, students transform into scientists and discover new phenomena every day. Engineering and STEM are the foundation and core of our learning through discovery. Our STEM tools as of now are few which limits not only the teaching but the students' discovery as well. While we do try our best to find ways around this constraint to learning, it would also be nice to give my students the opportunities that they deserve. Funding this project will lift the creative limitations on students and help them grow. Students will use this makers space throughout our science curriculum to discover new science wonders such as energy, waves, forces and motions, and more. They will use the makers space to engineer new pieces of technology that will help reinforce learning.
