Extending Our Imagination!

Help me give my students enough resources to do their extension activities in Language Arts. Our school has no budget for crayons , glue sticks, construction paper, etc.

My Students

I serve each of our Kindergarten students approximately an hour each week doing library lessons. They are always eager and just soak up every aspect of literature learning like little sponges. They are bright and very inquisitive, therefore keeping me on my toes at all times.

My Project

Each story read to my students needs an extension activity to bring characters and setting to life. They love to color, cut, paint, and glue to make this happen.

They love it when their handiwork is displayed in the hallway for the student body to see what we have been learning.

They also get very excited to be able to take home their handmade projects to show their classroom teacher and their parents.

These young children are still working on hand eye coordination and go through crayons very quickly. They get so excited about new supplies and it motivates them to want to use them even more.
