Help me give my students basic essentials for their classroom! All of these things will be used for my summer school class and the beginning of next year!
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
Thank you all for choosing to donate! This project will benefit a K-2 special education classroom. As the year comes to an end, we are running low or have completely run out of essential materials. All of these items will benefit both students and support staff in my class. Since we are a low income school, it is hard to ask parents to help replenish our supplies. Most of the teachers buy their own materials throughout the year in order to keep their supply stock up.
My goal for this project is to make sure all of my students have materials that make it successful to learn.
They need an organized environment and a clean learning space. Instead of sharing materials, I would like for each student to have their own supplies at their desk. All of my students deserve the proper materials for a school day!
My students are so so special to me and make an impact on my life daily. Their disabilities range from developmental delays to genetic disorders. I work in a coop specifically meant for children with severe disabilities. It is my job to make their life easier and make school their safe space!
