Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My main focus for my young artists is for them to have a well-rounded art room, where they can feel safe, creative, no stress and explore the art world. While art is fun, students still need to know that books and art manipulatives are just as important!
Books are the fundamentals in learning and books help us see beyond our reach!
Our classroom is starting to form into a well rounded art studio. Expanding our art library and choice area, helps our students read about artists, art genres, "how-to-draw" on their favorite subjects, explore different art areas and expand their art knowledge. The "How to draw" books have been a great hit in our library for our early finishers!
