My Project
The students that we serve often need assistance with SEL, or socio-emotional learning skills. Imbedded into those skills are communication skills, and ways we can share who we are with others.
It can be challenging for our students to share and communicate how they are feeling: we would like art supplies, including workbooks and homework planners, to help students learn communication skills, and learn how to express themselves in a safe way.
In doing so this will promote SEL skills, including self regulation skills, which our adolescent population needs. We would like to continue to help our students heal and learn the skills needed to be successful in and out of their classrooms.
