Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
My students love to work with their hands. Sometimes they have difficulty expressing how they feel in traditional ways. Many of them are non verbal and have difficulty accessing traditional print and have difficulty writing on their own. Our class needs materials so my students can express themselves through art.
Not only will these activities help my students develop their fine motor skills but also important socio-emotional skills, such as self expression and self confidence.
My students also like to decorate according to seasons and holidays. We will need paints, paper, fabric markers, brushes, glue, markers, stickers used on different mediums such as tote bags and watercolor paper. We will use the photo printer and film to create multi media pieces. The cricut materials and accessories help cut out shapes to be used for art projects. Please give us the materials to make our classroom the most colorful on campus.
