Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

One important aspect of learning with my students is to provide them with many opportunities to create digital projects for assessment. This is a creative way for them to show their mastery and understanding of specific common core standards and reading & writing content throughout the school year.

With the use of an Apple iPad, two groups would be able to create their project during the same time period, and there could be more instruction time going on without loss of minutes for students needing extra time on their projecs.

The iPad pencil would help them navigaSome examples of these projects are podcasts, newscasts, commercials showing an understanding of rhetorical appeals, live book reports, and many more.

My students are incredible, and this will give them another exciting way to express their creativity and knowledge throughout the school year.

Next year I will be moving into 8th grade with 8 classes, so having this will assist in what we already use in the classroom for our project assessments.
