Help me give my students an art center in our pre-k class.
Having an art area filled with wonderful art supplies can teach my students to create valuable learning skills that can be used in life.
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
This project can help support my students learn to work and explore their creative side and to express their emotions through art. Students will be exploring color mixing and exploring with various art tools. Some examples of art work students can do during art center includes; painting on the easel, portraits, textures, creating sculptures using model magic dough and collages.
Having an art area can help develop communication and language skills, increase creativity, and improve self-esteem.
Giving them this center can help support them with their love of art.
