Celebrate Black Teachers and Students

This project is part of the Black History Month celebration because it supports a Black teacher or a school where the majority of the students are Black.

My Project

We all learn differently while achieving an educational experience. Working in an urban school environment, funding sometimes run short. Many of our students receiving free or reduced lunch. It's hard to personally fund all activities that will help my students grow. Our poverty rate is over 60%. With this being said, our resources are limited to meet most individual needs.

I enjoy watching my inclusion students plan and meet the bench marks that they set for themselves.

This year I'm in need of art supplies including gallons of paint and flat and sponge brushes. The materials will be very helpful for my students. Artistic expressions can be more powerful then writing for many of my students. Please help my inclusion students to express their ideas through painting.
