Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
We are requesting supplies to support our after-school Art and Coding Program at our Title 1 school, which serves a diverse group of low-income students. These materials will provide students with the tools they need to explore and express their creativity through art and coding, offering an outlet for self-expression, critical thinking, and problem-solving.
By incorporating both art and coding, the program aims to foster a well-rounded skill set that includes technical, artistic, and cognitive development.
Students will use the supplies to design digital artwork, create interactive projects, and develop coding skills in a fun and engaging way. This initiative not only helps students to cultivate their creativity but also provides a safe and supportive environment to build confidence, teamwork, and a sense of accomplishment.
The requested supplies will enable us to bridge the gap in access to resources for our students, empowering them to explore their interests, develop new skills, and succeed academically in a rapidly evolving world.
