This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

Students will have the opportunity to understand land use & biodiversity on a small scale with the RISE planting system. Inclusion of biological matter to model the real world.

Currently we are growing mushrooms/ have sedum garden in a tank and an living wall in the corridor of our halls- yet this only allows to observe post planting the RISE system will assist in hands on variable changes to plants ; creating a micro heat affect and its impact on plants and growth rates.

As well and collecting the levels of CO2 with my vernier monitors. These experiences will aide in transferring the skills of land use/ heat and its contributing to negative impacts on humans and other organisms.
