Exploring World Events

My students need Time for Kids to help them learn about the events that are happening in the United States but also around the world.

My Students

Our school district is a small rural, K4-12 school with a wide range of needs, socioeconomic backgrounds, and a small school budget. My goal is to provide the best education possible to all of the students in my classroom. This is sometimes difficult due to the lack of supplies needed to help students fully understand the content. There are a few things that would make learning easier and more effective in my classroom. My 4th grade students love learning and I want to make available the needed resources to support them in this journey.

My Project

Having Time for Kids in my classroom will open my students eyes to everything that is happening around the world. Living in a small community, it is difficult for my students to think about events that are happening in the United States and around the world.

I want to help expose my students to world events that help shape our history.

I believe that all students should be exposed to current events. I think Time for Kids does an amazing job of engaging students and making them aware of many events. My students love to read Time for Kids and especially love the articles that are about different countries.
