Help me give my students a chance to explore through learning. My students will be explaining, evaluating, and exploring while learning with these breakout boxes. I can use them for all subjects by reinforcing learning.

My Students

Individualizing and offering choices are the goals I have for my third grade class. I have seen that some students learn from instruction, some learn by using hands-on materials, some learn by listening and some learn through playing games.

My students come in all different shapes and sizes for learning.

I have some students that are above the level of learning that they need to be. I have some that are right on level. I have some that are a grade level or more behind. Every one of these students want to learn and want to succeed. I teach at a Title I school were some students do not have everything they need at home to be successful in the classroom. With this criteria, their are some students that are behind compared to other students. As a teacher, I want to help these students succeed and grow in the classroom by offering instruction that they love on their level while others can get the same instruction but on a different level.

My Project

Science standards are forever changing in third grade. These breakout boxes will make teaching the new standards engaging and fun through exploring.

The students will be challenged with learning through hands on interaction.

The boxes will teach team work and perseverance when they are racing against the clock. The breakout boxes will make a difference because the students will be having fun while learning.

The students will be working together in a group to complete a task while learning about science, team building, growth mindset, rules and any other task that I create to expand their knowledge of learning.
