This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
My goal is to give my bilingual kindergartners easy access to vocabulary for literacy and math in both English and Spanish.
Having easy access to vocabulary will help encourage discussions and strengthen language skills of my bilingual kindergartners.
With your support, I plan to use the pocket chart and stand to display vocabulary cards. I plan on making it interactive by engaging my students in rigorous activities such as building sentences using the vocabulary cards directly on the pocket chart. The possibilities will be endless with this addition to my classroom!
