My Students

Ask a student what their favorite subject, and most of the time the answer is not History. I love History I want my students to enjoy it just as much as I do. The problem I face is that we have no resources to teach it. I am in need of engaging History resources that will inspire my students.

Our campus is a new construction near Ft.

Hood. My students come from all walks of life and many come to me with several gaps in their education because of this. My students are full of energy and love to learn. They want to learn more but unfortunately we don't have the funds to do this.

My Project

I am requesting hands-on U.S. History resources that will help engage my students about different U.S. History topics. With the use of these activities my students will get a better understanding of History by actively participating and applying it to their personal lives. The Social Studies Resource Boxes will help students get a better understanding of History topics that will have a lasting impression on them.

This will impact my students so much.

Many of my students struggle with U.S. History due to our poorly written Social Studies textbook but with these materials my students will gain an appreciation and love for U.S. History.
