My Project

Hi, we are asking for new science items for our classroom for a couple of reasons. First, we are striving to create a fun and exciting science center for all the kids to play at. Our hope is that it will be full of fun learning materials that will intrigue our students and catch their attention. A place they will want to be every chance they get. Second, we know that the new items will benefit our classroom because our kids love to learn as they play. Hands on learning gives kids the chance to experience things firsthand. They will get to explore the world of science right there in their classroom! Lastly, we are hoping for these science items because we know exceptional growth happens when given the right tools. The donated items will provide our students will the opportunity to ask questions and explore, to try things out, and to find answers. Science is typically a great subject that gives way to learning from trial and error- an important skill to develop. All our students come from social-economic backgrounds that may not allow for the students to engage in these types of learning tools if not for in the classroom. It is so important to provide all children with the tools that will motivate them and encourage them to dream big. In summary, we are asking for donations for this project of enhancing our classroom with a great science center that will not only spark a love for science but encourage our kids to stay curious long after they leave the classroom.
