This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Students
My students are a resilient group of young people. They are strong advocates and facilitators of their learning. Together we are cultivating an equitable learning environment where everyone is welcomed and celebrated.
We are in the process of creating our dream library.

My Project
Encouraging students to read comes easily when we have a beautiful library for them to explore. This project will allow us to give our beautifully diverse books a permanent home. This way, students will be able to explore the world of books in the comfort of their classroom.
My hope is that in creating a welcoming library, reading will become less intimidating.
I want to create a library that not only features their favorite authors but is created with love and care. Our students deserve a beautiful library at their disposal, entirely designed and created for THEM.
This library will serve as a door to the endless world of reading and writing! We hope you will support us in our efforts!
