This project is part of the Black History Month celebration because it supports a Black teacher or a school where the majority of the students are Black.

My Students

It has been said that middle school students are interested in absolutely everything -- for half an hour.

Middle school is such a busy time for students, and there are so many opportunities to learn new materials and apply them.

Our school is heavily emphasizing financial literacy across our curriculum through literature, math, and more. Why? this is a life skill they will certainly need for their futures.

My Project

My students need paid fees to participate in the Stock Market Game. Imagine groups of students gathered around technology researching through finance websites, checking out current events, discussing and debating current events and their impact on the market. That's what will be going on as my students participate in the Stock Market Game.

We are truly grateful that you would consider helping us as we prepare for the Stock Market Game.

Who knows one of the students in our class might be the next investment guru all turn to for financial advice. All of them will need the skills for whatever their future brings!
