My Students

I am a teacher of the best grade in the world ...Third Grade! We are Leaders who plan on leading the world in a great direction someday. Children at this age are eager to learn.

When we study a topic, my students are sponges.

They want to learn every possible fact. Library books, visited websites, and classroom conversations are always about our core... they get so engaged. By instilling a love of learning, I hope they become lifelong learners.

I have such an amazing class. They are so diverse and bring lots of color to our room. We are a family. We really look out for one another. We have some special needs students who require a lot of peer support. It warms my heart daily to see how supportive they are to each other.

My Project

Science is already an incredibly engaging subject for young minds, but hands-on experience can take it to the next level! The 3rd Graders at my school would love to have the opportunity to dig into the magical world of animals by dissecting owl pellets and discovering the amazing things that lie below the surface.

This project will provide students with the opportunity to use scientific skills to explore the fascinating life cycle of the owl.

In the past, the teachers on our amazing third grade team have purchased these materials on our own, but with the help of generous donors, we can continue to make this fantasy become a reality.
