Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
Our students are curious to learn more about the world around them. This year our 5th grade students are researching and creating a museum about the indigenous peoples of the Western Hemisphere.
These books will support our end of the unit research project where the students will be creating a museum with artifacts to teach the rest of the school about the early cultures of North and South America.
These books are vital for our libraries. During covid as things moved around our libraries have become run down and depleted. These books will revive the resources we need to research topics chosen by the students about the Aztec, Incas, and the Inuits.
Nearly all students from low‑income households
Data about students' economic need comes from the National Center for Education Statistics, via our partners at MDR Education. Learn more
