Exploring the Human Body Through Animal Dissections

My Project

My students are hardworking, dedicated, and exceptional. They have gone above and beyond to prove academically that they are capable of taking a higher level Biology course. My goal is to give them a true hands on Anatomy and Physiology experience that they won't forget. I have requested several items that will correspond with the nervous system and the cardiovascular system units.

The final project will be the fetal pig dissection at the end of the year.

Here, students will display what they have learned throughout the year by dissecting a fetal pig, comparing the dissection to the human body, and completing the dissection with a formal lab report.

My hope is that at the end of the year, my students leave my class passionate about the human body and feeling prepared for college or wherever life takes them after graduation!
