My students need to experience a field trip that will inspire them to learn more about the plant and animals! They already will get free busing and $3 off but it will still be $9.
This is the makeup of our students: American Indian 1%, Asian American 15%, African American 61%, Hispanic American 12%, Caucasian American 11%. This shows just how diverse our school is!
I work at a Saint Paul Public School and it is very small.
We have around 245 students. As a school, we are working on growing it and keeping our wonderful families all the way to 5th grade!
The Kindergartners and 1st graders come to school to learn! They are eager to take in knowledge and need real experiences where they can gain background information to further their creativity and spark life long learners.
My Project
The Bell Museum is opening up in Saint Paul only 20 minutes away from our school! Our school gets free buses and $3 off but it will still be $9 to have a full day to explore and learn more about our world!
The students will get to tour the gallery where they take "a deep dive into the technology of space exploration and the diversity of life through the lens of the museum’s famous dioramas." Then they get to go to the Touch & See Lab, "where students will interact with live animals and explore the characteristics of living things, this tour is designed to ignite curiosity!"
The students will also get to do a hands-on Science lab where they get to make "connections between honey bees, pollination, and our global food sources."
In addition, they will get to go to the Planetarium where they will learn about weather on Earth and on other planets as well.
This day full of exploring and inquiry will connect to our curriculum and inspire students!!
