Exploring Space!

My students need new tables and a rug in order for learning and exploring. These tables would give me more room in my small classroom.

My Students

My students are 5 and 6 years old. They live in a rural community. There is no big bussinesses in our little part of the county. My sweet students come to school with a smile on their faces and eager to learn. We have a small classroom that we use every inch of it. We learn by doing hands on projects. I want to be able to provide a positive learning enviornment that will allow them to move about and explore.

My Project

My students are in need of 4 new tables and a classroom rug. Big tables take up alot of my classroom. Smaller tables would give the students more room to move around in the classroom. A bigger rug would allow all students to sit comfortably during whole group Reading and Math lessons. This will also allow for more hands on learning. The rug we have now is 5 feet by 6 feet. When we sit on the rug someone is always having to sit on the floor. This causes choas while trying to gain their attention. A bigger rug would allow the students to be able to dance to different kinds of music.
