This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

My students need sand/water tables for science experiments and exploration activities to observe and generate inquiries and understand science. This project will help enhance our classroom’s science area with much needed equipment and materials to help bring endless possibilities to learn through sensory exploration. Having the appropriate materials will help them learn now and will nurture their love for science.

My goal is for my children to immerse themselves in exploration and choose materials and carry out experiments to test their ideas independently.

One table will be utilized for water and the other to hold the sensory sand colored pellets and will be readily available to use and to help the children learn and have a better understanding of Science and how the world around them works. These tables will help my students learn about cause and effect, problem solving and logic reasoning, and apply these skills to solve challenging problems. These materials will help boost their confidence and become the future Science leaders our society desperately needs. Please help me to make learning Science enjoyable.
