it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
Our students are full of curiosity and love making connections between science and the world around them. They thrive when they have engaging, relevant resources that make science come alive.
With a digital subscription to Scholastic Science World, our students will have access to high-interest articles, videos, and interactive features that bring real-world science into our classroom.
This resource will support critical thinking, academic discussions, and exploration of current scientific discoveries, helping students see the connections between what they learn in school and the world beyond.
Many of our students are building confidence in reading nonfiction texts, and Science World provides engaging, accessible articles with built-in literacy supports that help them grow as both scientists and readers. My goal is to foster scientific literacy, curiosity, and strong analytical skills by incorporating more real-world science into our lessons.
By bringing this resource into our classrooms, I hope to create a dynamic learning environment where students feel empowered to ask questions, explore new ideas, and see themselves as capable learners in science and beyond. Your support will help provide them with the tools to deepen their understanding, engage in meaningful discussions, and develop a lifelong love of learning!
