So many of my students have been told that science is boring. How dare they say that! They absolutely love learning about the world around them and how things work. It is seemingly in their nature. You just have to make them engaged in their own education.
I fill my room with music and videos and books and laughter.
I need some help in filling it a bit more to ensure it is bursting with education and a good time.
My Project
My students love using hand-held items during class. They also love visually stimulating images that promote discussion. I want to use these posters as visual aids in my classroom while being able to take them down and have them be part of a station rotation in my classroom.
These posters will keep my students active and engaged while also encouraging them to be curious about their universe.
Unfortunately, we are not able to take a field trip to orbit Mars. I have the next best thing though, imagination and a ton of energy to spill out onto my students to make these images on paper come alive.
I intend to have students use these posters as part of scavenger hunt stations where they find key information from the text on the posters, or sketch some phenomena that are present on the poster with proper labels. These stations would be both on students desks and on the walls to allow a good flow for the student groups to move around.
