My Students

Thanks to our wonderful, supportive community and others at DonorsChoose.org, our classes and after school enrichment programs have been able to explore coding and engineering in real life. We have Chromebooks, robots, a few iPads, and a Makerspace. We are very thankful for having these opportunities.

We are a close-knit, supportive community with kids from diverse backgrounds.

We love to learn and especially love hands-on learning and projects! Most kids learn best by doing and our students are no exception. Creating projects allows us to research topics of interest and collaborate with others increasing our communication, critical thinking, and creativity.

My Project

We recently completed three activities that have awarded us $300 in DonorsChoose.org gift certificates that we would like to use towards one more iPad to share. The programs we completed were in Digital Citizenship and Programming, with funds provided by Google. We're so thankful to have this opportunity and we learned a lot.

One more upgraded iPad will give more student access.

We are so thankful to have received 4 upgraded iPads for our class. We use these daily to explore new technology, to create videos to share our learning, and to program and control our robots. The iPads are also used by many on our campus through our after school tech classes and our student leadership program.
