My Project
In my experience, my students are more engaged when the lesson involves a hands-on demonstration of the scientific principles being explored. Help my students achieve this with these Pitsco Straw Rockets Launchers. These tools have been available on university field trips and at STARBASE. Two times out of the year is not enough for my students to really explore all of the possibilities.
Engineering design through trial and error on a small-scale model is the method I need to motivate my students to reach new heights in life.
Using these tools will help my kids see the trial and error process as it applies to the Engineering Design Process or EDP. Students will use background knowledge and research to design their rockets on this smaller scale.
