This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Students
The program that my students are enrolled in is called Preschool for All Learners. It's an Early Childhood Special Education Program for students three to five years of age. This class services students with mild to moderate disabilities (Autism, Speech and Language Disability, Intellectual Disability, and Other Health Impairments). Our students are ready to thrive and succeed in all areas of development.
My Project
These manipulatives and materials will engage my students to strengthen their fine motor skills. It will provide them with the opportunity to expand their motor skills in a fun and exciting way.
The materials will also assist my students to practice their language, math, and social skills.
For example, the paint will be used for them to create art work to express their emotions. The letter mats will provide practice in identifying and learning the letters of the alphabet.
Our students at this age learn best through play. Provide us with the support to continue learning through play.
Nearly all students from low‑income households
